I have delighted in houseleeks for some 60 years and have a modest collection at my home in East Sussex, UK. These pages will be used to try and share some of the pleasure I get from these small plants with their infinite variations on a theme and tolerance of neglect.

Sempervivum spider
I discovered this spider, Pisaura mirabilis, on a houseleek rosette in our garden this morning. She is carrying a globular egg sack beneath her front and seems well distguised.
