I have delighted in houseleeks for some 60 years and have a modest collection at my home in East Sussex, UK. These pages will be used to try and share some of the pleasure I get from these small plants with their infinite variations on a theme and tolerance of neglect.

Blue Boy flowers
Sempervivum 'Blue Boy' has done very well here and produced a fine spike of flower. It is the last of the houseleeks to bloom this year - most have been over for several weeks. Blue Boy was raised by Kevin Vaughn in the USA in 1977.
